Born on the 3rd of June 1977 killed in a road traffic accident on the 13.11.1998
age 21years old

Joseph was the eldest son of Lillias. He was such a smart little boy at school .He went to Arden
primary then Kings park Primary and secondary. He excelled in playing the violin.His teacher said
he was very gifted in playing the violin and in mathematics.Needless to say he gave up the violin as
soon as he heard of Karate then David, Brett and Joseph were going to become the next Bruce Lee's.
He travelled round the world with his gran and stayed in austalia for a few months getting to know
all his aussie relatives. When Joseph came back he had grown so much, he had turned into a young
man.
Joseph was a member of the Boys Brigade for many years.I will take this oppertunity to thank them
all for turning up at Josephs funeral and singing the hymn Sure and Steadfast I thank them so
much.

we all went to Sea mill every year on holiday and Butlins where Joseph seemed to have a good time
but we didnt realise how good it turned out for him he met Jennie. Jennii went on to take up the
next couple of years of Josephs life. Jenniis step (father David)and Joseph opened up their own
busieness. Joseph and Jenni had been so happy in the beginning, but also so young It phased itself
out and Joseph came back to live with us. Now Im so glad he did We got time with Joseph before he
was taken from us .
Joseph ran marathons for charity and ran almost every night in the rain hail or snow. The one night
he wasnt out running. he went out with his friends to spend his first wage from his new job, and
never got back. Josephs friends tell me he said goodnight see you all up at the dancing Friday night
and that was not to be. Joseph died after midnight Thur/Fri. No charges were brought against the
driver.

Joseph was a true big brother always looking out for all his siblings
his Brothers David,thomas,Calumn and the late Christopher Thompson
also his 3 Sisters Amanda,Heather and Lillias
Joseph life was taken away so suddenly, that we were absolutely devastated,A family in shock . A
little part of each and every one of us went with him that day
